NOTICE OF ESTIMATED TAXES AND TAX RATE ADOPTION INFORMATION
Visit Texas.gov/propertytaxes to find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information regarding the amount of taxes that each entity that taxes your property will impose if the entity adopts its proposed tax rate. Your local property tax database will be updated regularly during August and September as local elected officials propose and adopt the property tax rates that will determine how much you pay in property taxes.
Property owners have the right to request the information from the assessor of each taxing unit for their property. You may request their contact information from you local appointed Tax Assessor-Collector for property tax purposes listed below.

The Andrews Appraisal District Website may not display photographs and building sketches for all properties. In accordance with Senate Bill 541, as passed by the Texas Legislature, the information in appraisal records may not be posted on the Internet if the information is a photograph, sketch, or floor plan of an improvement to real property that is designed primarily for use as a human residence. Photographs and building sketches of properties will still be available for viewing by the public at our office during normal business hours.

Andrews County Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Andrews County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
Andrews County Appraisal District has contracted with Capitol Appraisal Group, Inc. to prepare valuations of all oil and gas leases, telephone, gas and electric utility systems, cable television systems, pipeline systems, railroad companies, and industrial properties designated by the Chief Appraiser. Under this contract, Capitol Appraisal also maintains a list of record owners of all producing oil and gas leases mentioned above, indicating the particular interest, or interests therein owned, including working interests and royalty interests.
